Description Grapes Brachetto

Technical Italian grape variety, grows mainly in Piedmont , the area north-west of Italy . It ripens in the second half of September . Sheetmedium or small, rounded, almost one-piece or three-bladed, blades but barely noticeable . Cherenkov recess open, pinnatipartite or closed . pubescence on the underside of the leaf is missing . Flower hermaphrodite . Bunch medium, various forms: elongated, cylindrical-conical, sometimes quite short, dense or very dense . Berry average, roundish, dark purple . Frost average . Strength of growth of bushes average . Brachetto in high degree affected by fungal diseases resistant to botrytis . The yield is low, but constant . Maturing shoots good . The grapes used in wine exclusively for the production of light dessert, usuallysparkling or sparkling wines of light pink color, with a pleasant taste reminiscent of nutmeg or strawberries .
