This small fungus parasitic on other fungi - Scleroderma lemon-yellow (Scleroderma citrinum) - and looks very like a small flywheel . Hats 2 - 6 cm in diameter, hemispherical at an early age, then from convex to Pillows prominent, smooth, dry, light ocher or yellow-brownish . Yellow pores sufficiently large . Leg yellow ocher, almost always curved, 3 - 8 cm long and 8 - 15 mm thick . The flesh is gray-brown, do not change color on the cut . Spores yellow, smooth,fusiform, 12 - 18 x 4 - 6 m . Uncommon or even rare and autumn (July - October) in coniferous and mixed forests, living solely on the fruiting bodies of Scleroderma lemon yellow (Scleroderma citrinum) . Edible . Boletus parasitic largely similar to the flywheel edible green (Xerocomus subtomentosus), which is characterized by alarge size, olive-yellow-brown color of the cap, and grows on the ground .
