Composition and method of preparation of substrate

The classic method of preparation of the substrate, or spontaneous fermentation .

This is the old way of preparation of the substrate, so far widely used in practice, mushroom, as a rule, for the fermentation of horse manure straw . Its essence is as follows. Horse manure lightly moisturize, placed in a loose shoulder and subjected to spontaneous fermentation . temperature therein increases rapidly, then after 5 - 7 days decreased, while the substrate is sealed, the access of oxygen into the collar difficult . For resumption of self-warming manure shoulder shake while post-humidification mass and laying manure from areas in the cold zone of active rewarming (first cutaways) .

In the process of fermentation in the shoulder formed four zones . The first - the outer layer, which is in constant contact with the surrounding cold air, it has a redundant air supply, manure remains cold and dries quickly to form a zone of excessive aeration . Manure in this areapractically is not fermented . The second zone has an average temperature. It is mainly developed actinomycetes and its excessive aeration so manure dries fairly quickly . The most active slurry self-warming is observed in the third zone, where the active fermentation . The fourth zone is located in the base of the central portioncollar . Conditions for fermentation in this area are unfavorable due to insufficient supply of oxygen into it. It is called anaerobic nucleus .

Sequence cutaways in the zones collar is the same as thatthe first cutaways. In the process of checking humidity cutaways substrate mass, and if desired, moisturise dry space or the entire mass .
