Composition and method of preparation of substrate
The need for raw materials for the preparation of the substrate .
When organizing mushroom cultivation is important to calculate the need for starting materials for preparing the substrate . Basic parameters for this calculation - the loss of weight and dry matter for a period of spontaneous fermentation, which depend on the length and composition of the fermentation substrate . The weight loss ranged from 30 up to 50% . When the old traditional composting process for 25 - 28 days the loss of dry substance is 45 - 50%; for short composting preliminary moistening of the straw fermentation period for 9 - 12 days - 30 - 35, when fermented for 16 - 17 days - 35 - 40% .
Day composting | Treatment type | Additives per 1 ton of dry straw |
1 - 6-I | Chopped straw into pieces of length 10 - 20 cm, moisturizing, adding a nitrogen-containing materials, push-ups | Water - about 2000 liters, urea - 20 kg |
7 | Adding nitrogen-containing materials, mixing them with a straw. Formation collar size 1,7x1,7 m | Broiler litter - 200 kg urea - 10 kg |
12 - 13 th | Adding organic material, humidification to a moisture content of 70% . 1st cutaways | Broiler Litter - 100 kg of water, if necessary |
15 - 16 minutes | Adding gypsum and superphosphate . 2nd cutaways | Gypsum - 50 kg superphosphate - 3 - 5 kg water to moisten the dry places |
18 - 19 minutes | 3rd cutaways with advanced control of water content | Water - with a moisture content below 70% |
21 - 22 minutes | 4th cutaways. Filling tunnel pasteurisation . If the substrate appearance is not ready, it is allowed to continue fermentation for further 1 - 2 days |
