Bred in 1938 . The flowers are cup-shaped, with a high center, solitary, rarely 2 per spike, medium to large (8 - 12 cm in diameter), double (26- 33 petals), with a very weak aroma, fiery scarlet-red color, very persistent . In the sun a little flower is blue . Bush strongly stalwart (70 - 90 cm), erect, branched low . Flower stalks strong, long , upright . The leaves are large, oval, dark green . Flowering begins in late June and continues with smallintermittently until late autumn . In wet years weakly affected by powdery mildew . Used as stam culture, shear, for distillation, in group plantings .
